Chil Rajchman est l’un des 57 survivants du centre de mise à mort de Treblinka. Il a 28 ans quand il y est déporté en octobre 1942. Séparé de sa sœur à la descente du train, il échappe aux chambres à gaz en devenant tour à tour trieur de vêtements, coiffeur, porteur de cadavres et arracheur de dents.
